7/31/10 - had a group of Raptor maintainers aboard. The Marlin hit to the north of Ledge bouy. It first tapped outrigger , I slowed, then it tore across the wake and nailed the stinger. had it to boat in 15minutes, then it ran like no tomorrow. Took almost 90 minutes to boat it - it was hooked in the eye and fought crazy!
7/24/10 - trolled out to Ledge, old NOAA and back. Had a nice strike short of Old NOAA but it didn't stick. Then about 2 miles north of ledge had a strike and it stuck. Radio'd Lucky Strike about it and about 10 minutes later had one a mile from me too! Great having Sandy, Michael and Lee aboard!
7/10/10 - Ted and Ron aboard, word was marlin around and not much tuna, so we opted for large lures only. 1/2 mile south of #2 we hooked up a marlin and ron worked him all the way. Weighed in at 114lbs. pictures to follow.
6/29/10 - Charter trip - started slow, moved through bouys 1,2 and ritidian. Water nice so we ran up to Rota Bank and it was "game on!" Lots of bonita in the 3-5lb range, yellow in the 5-10lb range and rainbow runner. had two nice knockdowns that went deep, figured it was larger yellows. One knockdown frayed mainline above leader so it may have been a bill wrapped around the line! Hopefully picture to come from customer. 13bonita, 2 yellowfin and rainbow runner. Probably 5-7 strikes in addtion that didn't stick.
6/27/10 - Diving trip in Apra Harbor. Group dove on the Cormoran/Tokai Maru wrecks first then a drift dive along the inner breakwall through the "junkyard"
5/15/10 - Still finding Mahi here and there, larger in size, but harder to find! Starting to hear rumblings of people catching some marlin. Doug and Nick Gordon got some action, accompanied by Phil and Jeremy.
5/8/10 - Rob Stoll brought keven Camacho, Mr Catahay and his daughter Teresa Catahay. We were able to bring in a couple of mahi before it really started to get hot outside! Great having them aboard!
4/29/10 and 5/1/10 - USS Houston! It was my distinct pleasure to have the Captain, Wardroom and most especially the Chiefs of the boat aboard for two days this week! Both trips we landed plenty of fish and a good time was had by all! Tks for coming out with me!
4/17/10 - Mahi run continues! Fish are consistently bigger now, alot are developing egg sacks. Landed 6 nice ones for a group here TDY at Andersen AFB.
4/11/10 - Mahi Bite! Fish still here, another cold front on it's way in. Mahi are getting bigger, fights to the boat taking a bit more work.
3/28/10 - Diving! Double Reef - with Grace ad Alice!
